UIC 541
Every up–to–date traction unit and passenger coaches require a power supply and signal transmission system in conjunction with the electro-pneumatic (EP) brake and the emergency brake override or passenger alarm signal. The proven UIC 541 VE connector system fulfils this requirement and transmits energy and signal of the EP brake in freight wagons as well.
