On 28 June 2017, era-contact USA, LLC, a company of the era-contact brand, opened its new location in the Pickens County Commerce Park in Liberty, South Carolina. In the USA, in future the entire product range from small series to series production will be manufactured and offered on a surface area of approx. 38,000ft², according to customer wishes.
On 22 May,era-contact GmbH, a subsidiary of the aichele GROUP, successfully asserted itself with its solution for "paperless production" in the Allianz Industrie 4.0 competition. The world market leader received an award as one of 16 prize-winners in the competition "100 locations for Industry 4.0 in Baden-Württemberg"
