Ethernet Upgrade Solutions for Refurbishment & Series Production
Through our in-house development of the era-transceiver® we offer various Ethernet solutions, both for the original equipment as well as for the rapid retrofitting of older rail vehicles without damaging the original couplings.
The advantages of Ethernet solutions lie in the customer-specific adaptation to the respective couplings' circumstances and the resulting rapid adaptation of older rail vehicles to the increased digital requirements in rail traffic:

- Retrofitting rail vehicles
- Entertainment, video and passenger information systems
- Internet and VPN
- Monitoring systems (real-time video in high picture Quality)
- No more need for parallel bus systems (WTB, MVB, train bus)
Functions
- High-speed data transfer with 100MBit and 1GBit (10GBit in development)
- Offers signal regeneration
- Galvanically decoupled connection
- Voltage free contact as status inquiry
- Various possibilities for interfaces (RJ45, M12, SC)
- Allows a high degree of imprecise clearance / tolerance
- No coupling forces on contacts
